The “Lit” Crawl: A Creative Writing Workshop

Explore the elements of storytelling on location at some of the region’s famed cultural and historical sites. This course focuses on writing as a lived experience both inside and outside of the classroom. Class meets every week, alternating between in-class and off site excursions. Enjoy inspiration with visits to the Missouri Botanical Garden, Missouri History Museum, historic Soulard neighborhood and more. Prepare for an adventure as we crawl from site to site using the elements of these environments to enrich our storytelling abilities. This class also features on special writing project in which we use inspiration from each crawl site to develop it.

Transportation and fees to sites are on your own. First class meets in classroom. Cost for adults 60 and over $80.50. Class held at FP-C Tower 215.
